Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 September 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the services provided by MY SERVER HACKED.
Who you are contracting with
Services are provided by MY SERVER HACKED LLC (Company registration details available on request), Registered address available on request via help@myserverhacked.com.
What we provide
We provide emergency Linux server incident response, investigation, malware and backdoor removal, recovery assistance and security hardening. The specific scope of any engagement is agreed with you in writing before substantial work begins.
Response times
Our stated target is an initial response within 1 hour of receiving your request. This is a target for our first substantive reply. It is not a guarantee of incident resolution, malware removal, recovery, or restoration of service within that time or any other time.
Limitations of the service
Security work carries inherent uncertainty. You acknowledge and accept that:
- We cannot guarantee that any compromised system can be fully cleaned, nor prove the absence of every possible backdoor on a system that has been compromised.
- For deeply compromised systems, rebuilding from a known-good image may be the safer course, and we may recommend it instead of attempting to clean the existing system.
- We cannot guarantee data recovery, preservation of evidence, uptime, or any specific recovery timeframe.
- Investigation findings are based on the evidence available at the time. Where logs have been cleared or the system heavily modified, some questions may not be answerable.
- Hardening reduces risk. It does not make a system immune to future compromise.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm that you own the systems you ask us to work on, or are authorised by the owner to engage us for that work.
- You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Where possible, take a backup or snapshot before any remediation work begins.
- You must not send passwords, private SSH keys, API tokens, cloud credentials or other secrets through the request form or by email.
- You are responsible for your own legal and regulatory obligations arising from an incident, including any breach notification duties.
Access and authorisation
Where hands-on access is required, we will agree the method with you in advance and request the minimum access the work requires. You may revoke that access at any time. We will inform you of significant actions we intend to take on a production system before taking them, where circumstances allow.
Pricing and payment
Initial assessment is available from €149. Pricing beyond the initial assessment depends on the complexity of the incident, and complex incidents may require a custom quote. We will agree scope and cost with you before substantial work begins.
Payment terms, accepted methods, currency, applicable taxes and refund conditions: We agree scope and price with you in writing before any substantial work begins. Invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. Prices exclude any taxes that may apply.
Confidentiality
We treat information about your systems and incidents as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. We treat your incident information as confidential by default. A mutual NDA is available on request before an engagement begins.
Liability
Work on a compromised production system carries risk, including the possibility of service interruption or data loss. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
Where a mandatory local law gives you rights that cannot be limited by agreement, those rights are unaffected. Details of our professional indemnity cover are available on request.
No warranty
Services are provided on a best-efforts professional basis. We do not warrant that any system will be free of compromise, that all malicious components will be identified, or that an incident will not recur.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MY SERVER HACKED LLC is established, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that same jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The terms in force at the time an engagement is agreed apply to that engagement.
